About Us
Learn about us, our mission and the many ways we support you.
Founded in 2020, we are the fastest growing Eating Disorder community specialising in ARFID.
Young Adults with ARFID is the fastest-growing community for individuals with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), providing support, understanding and resources for those struggling with extreme food aversions.

ARFID is not driven by body image concerns but rather by sensory sensitivities, lack of interest in food, or fear of negative consequences like choking.

Embracing challenges and celebrating progress
Our community is dedicated to embracing challenges and celebrating progress, helping individuals navigate their journey with ARFID while fostering a sense of belonging and personal achievement.

Eating disorders do not have a bias and can start at any age. Our community welcomes everyone and supports people from all around the world reaching as far as Australia, The Netherlands, UK and USA.

We provide free resources and services with no restriction on use. We even signpost our members to other resources for other similar disorders.
Young Adults with ARFID changes lives. All for free.
Young Adults with ARFID was founded by a full time educator diagnosed with ARFID. His intention was to educate the world about ARFID and to provide support and resources to those with the disorder. Since launch, we have offered a fully stocked resource hub with self-help resources and signposting to other sites

We are currently in the process of redeveloping parts of our site to deliver on our new aim: Share what works... what's unmissable. That means some of our clutter may finally become clarity.

and there's so much more to come.
"Without Young Adults with ARFID, I do not know where I would be"
Speaks volumes doesn't it. Where medical costs are at an all time sky high, accessing free support like this can be life-changing.

People have used our services to then move on to meeting other members face to face, start happy and healthy relationships with foods and explore positive social options as well as to have a space to share their successes and talk about their struggles in a loving and supportive environment.
Total Transparency
As we aim for a new way of delivering better information to you, we are going to aim to be more transparent too. In our most recent blog post (Click Here) we told you about important changes we are making to Young Adults with ARFID to improve the information you can read and get from us. You can now view the progress by clicking here - please send us any new suggestions to our email.
